Sliding table saw T74 Classic: the classic for your workshop
![]() |
This machine offers everything you would expect from a modern premium-class sliding-table saw: three controlled axes and a future-oriented, user-friendly 5.7" touchscreen control for precise settings of the cutting height, angle, and width in seconds.
Touch-sensitive touch screen controller
The operator simply enters the required measurements for the cutting height, cutting angle and rip fence and the controller accurately positions the selected axes. Intuitive menus provide step-bystep prompting of the operator through complex joinery and angular cuts such as rabbets, dados and mortise and tenon joints. The handy integrated calculator can be used for performing any required calculations. If you need to referenced the cutting dimensions relating to the top side of the workpiece, simply enter the thickness of the board. The controller will reference the blade angle and workpiece thickness and position the fence accordingly.
Guard monitoring
The controller also monitors the saw-blade guard. If the narrow guard is inserted, the rip fence, which cannot be tilted in this configuration, is limited to coming within 25 mm of the blade. If the wide guard is used, the rip fence can come within 150 mm of the blade, allowing the blade to be tilted by up to 46°. When ripping narrow workpieces, the cut should be conducted at a lower rpm speed in order to avoid accidents and/or damage to the guard or rip fence.
Accurate angle cuts
This table makes your machine an efficient, perfect angle-cutting tool that is also perfect for compound mitre cuts. The table can be adjusted from +46.5° to -46.5° with a resolution of 0.01°; depending on the execution, the needed length compensation is performed with electronic support or fully automatically.
Easy operation
The ProLock system enables changes of the main saw blade and the scoring blade – without locking the saw arbor. On all T74 machines, the speed can easily be changed by means of a user-friendly opening in the machine table. With the optional variable speed control you can easily and perfectly set the speed with the push of a button and adjust the speed even more precisely.
Electrically adjustable 2-axis and 3-axis scoring saw
The scoring blades have a decisive impact on cutting quality. Select either the 2-axes system whose scoring height and right/left position can be set while the machine is running, with the scoring kerf adjusted when the machine is not running, or the patented MARTIN 3-axes system, where all axes, even the kerf can be adjusted while the machine is running.
